67^th TJK Trophy Goes to Zafer Ateşi

67^th TJK Trophy (G1) was held on Sunday, 04 October, at the 70^th Anniversary of the Jockey Club of Turkey (TJK), at the Veliefendi Racecourse in Istanbul.

67^th TJK Trophy was held on 2400 meters on turf track with the participation of 3-year-old and upwards thoroughbreds.

6 yo winner,  Zafer Ateşi (Win River Win - Gold Hyperion / Pharly),  finished the race in 2.27.99 with his jockey Hışman Çizik and obtained his first G1 victory.

Hasafet (Youmzain - Reemeya / Bernardini) finished the race in second place with Akın Sözen and followed by Mister Görkem (Powerscourt - Gençceren / Kaneko) with Ahmet Çelik, Finesse (Luxor - Flying Saucer / Eagle Eyed) with Selim Kaya and The Last Romance (Tizway - Cumulus / Kingmambo)with Ayhan Kurşun. The margins of the race were 1/2 L - 2 L - N - 13 L.
