The success of Turkish apprentice jockey Gündoğdu is in the Australian press

The success of apprentice jockey, Ibrahim Ethem Gündoğdu, racing in Australia has been over the news of Herald Sun and The Age dailies.

Gündoğdu, born in 1988 in Samsun-Çarşamba, graduated from Ekrem Kurt Apprentice Training Center in 2002 and was sent to Racing Victoria Limited School in Australia for further training by the Jockey Club of Turkey. Gündoğdu returned to Turkey in 2003, received his apprentice license in 2004 and returned to Australia in the same year as a result of the offer that he received.

Ibrahim Gündoğdu, within a short period of 3 years, despite his young age, has proven himself to be successful in Australian horseracing. The Australian press, which is fully aware of his successes, has published news about our young apprentice.


Our young apprentice jockey won the 1st prize 20 times, 2nd prize 31 times and the 3rd prize 28 times in 340 races that he ran, earning a total of 312,415 $ prize money.
