FANTASTIC LERO Wins the White Turf Trophy

The reciprocal White Turf Trophy was held in Istanbul on 15th May, with the slogan of “White Turns to Green in Istanbul”. The Jockey Club of Turkey Trophy was hosted by the White Turf on 14th February in St. Moritz. 

Veliefendi Racecourse hosted White Turf which is one of the most important organizations of winter tourism and held in St. Moritz – Switzerland since 1907

FANTASTIC LERO (Leroidesanimaux - Songthrush / Unbridled's Song) owned by Hakan Yuceturk won the White Turf Trophy (Condition 21) with its jockey Furkan Yüksel.

8 Thoroughbreds of 4 yo and up participated in the race which was held on turf on 1900 meters with a first prize of 52.500 TL. KRAL AMED (Luxor - Amasis / Highest Honor) finished the race as second and followed by WON CALM (Red Bishop - Münevver Hanım / Distant Relative) and EL PASO (Lion Heart - Lisa M / Banker's Gold).

The finish time for FANTASTIC LERO was 1.53.97 and the margins were 1,5 L / 1,5 L / N.

Hakan Yuceturk, the winning owner, received his plaque from John Ruhoff, the Deputy Consul General of Switzerland. 

Silvio Martin Staub, President and CEO of White Turf presented plaques to Hakan Yuceturk on behalf of Sabri Bektaş, the trainer of FANTASTIC LERO and Furkan Yuksel, the winning jockey.  

Silvio Martin Staub also presented a plaque to Yasin Kadri Ekinci and John Ruhoff to mark the day.

Yasin Kadri Ekinci, President of the Jockey Club of Turkey presented a gift to Silvio Martin Staub, President & CEO of White Turf.
