PENDRAGON is the Winner of Macau Cup

Macau Cup, named after Macau Jockey Club, was held on Sunday, 02 September at the Istanbul Veliefendi Racecourse.
 

PENDRAGON (Three Valleys - Waadi / Royal Abjar), the gelding thoroughbred owned by Duygu Fatura and trained by Selçuk Taşbek,  won Macau Cup (Condition-6) with its jockey Gökhan Kocakaya.
 

The race with 64.000 TL first prize for three yo thoroughbreds was held on turf track on 1200 meters. DIRTY GIRL (Country Reel - Bon Voyage / Mujdahit) finished the race as second and followed by TIMETOSAYGOODBYE (Raven's Pass - Enhance / Entrepreneur) and BRAVE AZUR (Agresivo - Kambirik / Akındayım) who started the race 3 L behind.

Finish time for the winner was 1.11.42, and the margins were Nose – 1 Length – 1.5 Lengths.  

Mr. Adil Mert Kaya, Treasurer Executive Board Member of TJK, presented a trophy  to winning owner Mrs. Duygu Fatura, who is also a Permanent Member of TJK.

Mrs. Duygu Fatura received a plate on behalf of the winning trainer from Mr. Yuksel Gokturk, Executive Board Member of TJK while the winning jockey Gökhan Kocakaya took his plate from Mr. Hakan Yuceturk, Executive Board Member of TJK. Dr. Ender Aydiner (General Coordinator of TJK Executive Board), Murat Kadaifcioglu (Permanent Member of TJK), and Franco Castelfranchi, Board Member of FEGENTRI also attended the cup ceremony.
