Istanbul Racing Festival Concludes
Istanbul Racing Festival, was held at the Veliefendi Racecourse on September 7-8. The festival, which featured thrilling races, attracted great interest from the racing fans.
Saturday, September 7
FEGENTRI World Championship Race For Amateur Lady Riders
The race was held on synthetic track on 2000 meters with the participation of 7 four-year-old and upwards Purebred Arabians.

Cebealp (Özgünhan - Sühunet / Sezginbey), owned by Beşir Kaya, won the FEGENTRI World Championship Race For Amateur Lady Riders Race with Tereza Grbavcicova. The finish time for Cebealp was 2.18.91.
Mahinurum finished the race in the second place and was followed by Doruğun Ayazı, Kunya and Gubaz.

Istanbul Trophy
Istanbul Trophy (G3) was held on 7 September evening at the Veliefendi Racecourse in Istanbul. 11 three-year-old and upwards fillies participated in the race on turf track on 1600 meters.
General Briella (General Quarters - Smart Angel / Fast Company) owned by Mert Ali Karabulut won the race with its jockey Mehmet Akyavuz. The finish time was 1.36.71 for General Briella.

One of the most anticipated races of the opening day of Istanbul Racing Festival was held on synthetic track on 2000 meters. The racing fans witnessed the breathtaking competition of three-year-old and upwards thoroughbreds.
Alp The Hero (Karakontie - Hoop Of Colour / Distorted Humor), owned by Şeyda Ercan, won France Galop Anatolia Trophy with jockey Gökhan Kocakaya.
