Jockey Club of Turkey provides services to the breeders at the Stud Farms and Covering Stations located in various regions across Turkey, for the purpose of contributing to the development of breeding by promoting the breeding of Thoroughbreds and Purebred Arabians, providing stallions of good origins, obtaining healthy and productive foals as per to the scientific methods, and conducting those activities within the frame of technical principles.
During the 2020 Covering Season, 3.828 mares were covered by 57 Thoroughbred stallions and 30 Purebred Arabian stallions at the Jockey Club of Turkey Stud Farms and Covering Stations. 10 of the Thoroughbred stallions belong to the Jockey Club of Turkey and the remaining 47 are owned by private breeders. All 30 Purebred stallions belong to the private breeders. Of the covered 3.828 mares, 3.049 were confirmed to be pregnant, 461 mares remained without foal, while the number of no-return mares were 318.
The pregnancy rate for 2020 was 86.87 % in our Stud Farms and Covering Stations.
Adana Seyhan Covering Station, opened in 2000, is built on 44,5 acres area. The facility has 25 paddocks, 5 boxes for stallions and 64 boxes for mares.
The covering station is active from January to June. Services are provided to the mares with temporary boarding status within that period. Mares leave the station from 30 June, following their last controls.

Istanbul Silivri Covering Station, opened in 2002, is built on 40 acres area. The facility has 12 paddocks, 5 boxes for stallions and 72 boxes for mares.
The covering station is active from January to June. Services are provided to the mares with temporary boarding status, within that period. Mares leave the station from 30 June, following their last controls.

Izmir / Torbali Covering Station, opened in 2000, is built on 48 acres area. The facility has 25 paddocks, 4 boxes for stallions and 63 boxes for mares.
The covering station is active from January to June. Services are provided to the mares with temporary boarding status, within that period. Mares leave the station from 30 June, following their last controls.

Izmit Covering Station was built in 1973, on a 176 acres area. The facility provides services to mares with permanent and temporary boarding status, during the covering season with 20 boxes for stallions, 263 boxes for mares and 40 paddocks. Permanent boarding service is also provided to the foals with 60 foal boxes.

As an addition to the covering services, Izmit Covering Station also provides all-year-round permanent boarding for mares and foals.

Karacabey Boarding Stud Farm, being the biggest Stud Farm of the Club was opened in 2001. The farm is built on 1235 acres area and has 18 km perimeter.
The facility provides services to mares with permanent and temporary boarding status, during the covering season with 125 paddocks, 16 boxes for stallions and 540 boxes for mares. Permanent boarding service is also provided to the foals with 300 foal boxes.

Mahmudiye Boarding Stud Farm, opened in 2001, is built on 432 acres area. The facility provides services to mares with permanent and temporary boarding status, during the covering season with 45 paddocks, 16 boxes for stallions and 174 boxes for mares. Permanent boarding service is also provided to the foals with 126 foal boxes.

Sanliurfa Covering Station, built on 244 acres area, was opened in 2003, with 28 paddocks, 23 boxes for stallions and 150 boxes for mares.
